Safe Haven

First of all, it’s an honor that you’ve made your way here, and I pray you stick around!! Sip your coffee, grab a blanket, and light a candle because this space is meant to be a pocket of rest. This blog has been something I have dreamed about doing since high school/ early days of college, but I made absolutely every excuse in the book not to. Everything from “I’m too busy” to “I have no idea what I’m doing” to “Who even reads blogs nowadays”. You know what? Maybe that’s the point. The areas we feel the most resistance to are the areas that God wants to show up most. Maybe it’s that we need to actually slow down and soak in the words on the page. Whatever the case may be, dare to listen to the still small voice. Where is it that your heart comes most alive? Where do you feel most connected to the heart of God? Lean into that place. Write it down. Steward what God said. You might be surprised to find that He is exactly who he says He is 🙂

Whether 3 people read this blog or 3,000, this is something God has placed on my heart in this season to bring forth a new thing in me. I’m here with an audience of one, but am delighted to share the grace of God in my life so that we may be encouraged together! I pray the Father gives you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him as you read through these pages (Ephesians 1:17-19). I pray that these words are divinely inspired to spark a flame in your heart for a deeper love for Him. Don’t just take my word for it, go to the secret place and see. 

Remember, He is our exceedingly great reward. He is all in all.
